Our market leading, international client has an exciting opening in their Hampshire workshop facility.

£20,000/annum Excellent bens.

They seek applications from some who is keen to progress, and learn a trade with ongoing training and support.

The successful applicant would be proactive and always thinking one step ahead, ensuring success for yourself and of course the whole team.

This role would suit a college leaver with a technical qualification or someone looking to take their first steps in a Junior Workshop Technician role and want to learn a trade.

The company manufacture, design and test pumps for many applications.

You will be trained to build, design and test pump and motor sets.

This is a genuine and rare opportunity - and you would need the following as a minimum:

  • A strong technical ability, mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of assembling rotating equipment
  • A good mathematical knowledge to be able to use simple equations and conversion of units of measure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for referencing chemical compatibility data, interpreting information with regard to how it will affect the pump.
  • Methodical and logical work practices.
  • Flexibility within work role
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft office software
  • Good telephone skills.
  • Driving licence (preferred)
