  • SQL Server experience is essential
  • SSIS and Visual Studio, or failing that - similar relevant skills
  • Experience of configuring of and supporting a CRM or similar case management database
  • A mature outlook, team player and excellent communication/presentation skills

Further Details

You will be responsible for maintaining and further developing applications, including reporting for business intelligence.

We are looking for an experienced and adaptable applications and data programmer who will enjoy working as part of a small, busy team in an extremely varied role. As our applications and data programmer, you will adapt, maintain and configure the key business systems using tools including SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Orbis BPA Platform, Logic Apps and other development and testing tools.

You will also be responsible for working with third party suppliers and users to ensure updates are rolled out successfully and to resolve software queries and issues for our users.

You will be good at analysing user and technical requirements and enjoy working with people. You will also need good organisational and planning skills – to be adaptable when reactive work comes in, but still able to perform and deliver your proactive tasks. You will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, so you can work well with our users across all teams and with third-party suppliers.

This would suit someone from perhaps a data management / applications developer / data developer / data programmer / data applications background.

Hours and days: Some flexibility but generally expected to be in the office 3 days a week, and 2 from remote / home.

Initially you will be employed on a 2 year permanent contract.
